Fair Dealing and Copyright

Research: You may use copyright research for things of educational purpose, or for a personal purpose. Taking pieces from chapters in books may be allowed if the use of information is relevant to the research.
Education: For educational purposes you may use copyrighted material, under fair dealing. This is allowed for non profit education. You may be allowed to use a whole article or video if it has relation to your educational learning.

Review: When reviewing copyright material, you may include certain points and quotes from the copyright piece, but you may not use the full article, video, etc. There are limits as to how much you can review copyright material, as you should only use enough information from it to help create your own review.

News Reporting: News reporters may require the use of copyrighted material, like short texts or clips from video footage that has relation to current events. As long as the subject is based on the current events there is an exception to copyright for news reporting. As long as the material is fair, the news reporter may use copyrighted material to provide information in relation to the event.
